Seventy-eight percent of German investors in Bulgaria for 2013 wish to continue their business in the country.
This transpired during a discussion forum organized by the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Sofia with the participation of Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski.
At the meeting were also present the deputy minister of Economy and Energy Ivan Ayolov and the Education Minister Anelia Klisarova.
The German investors insisted on honest and consistent relations with Bulgaria’s authorities.
In 2013 Germany was the third largest investor in Bulgaria, preceded by The Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The trade turnover between Bulgaria and Germany for 2013 reached the record levels of EUR 5.3 B, which is by 10.5% more than in 2012. Bulgaria’s export for Germany was by EUR 0.5 B more than the import of German goods into Bulgaria.
