Kremikovski MonasteryThe Kremikovski Monastery is situated on the southern slope of the Stara Planina (Old Mountains) near the district of Kremikvotsi in the Gradishte land.

The Kremikovski Monastery was built during the time of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom and in the period of the Ottoman rule was destroyed. 111 years later, thanks to donations it was reconstructed.

It is considered that the Kremikovsko gospel has been written in the monastery. Today the Second Bulgarian Kingdom is a tourist attraction not only for the citizens of Sofia, but also for many tourists from all over the country and abroad.
